I firmly believe that I have a social and moral duty to portray characters who convey a message, the performer declares. 

Adnan Siddiqui will make his acting comeback after a three-year hiatus in the short film Jamun Ka Darakht, directed by Rafay Rashdi of Thora Jee Le.

The film is "a free point of view of the nonpartisan enslavement of consensuality between a man and a lady," as indicated by the chief.

Siddiqui let Pictures know that he plays a person named Kareem, who is "a discourse on the complexities and intricacies of our general public, where we all are wearing numerous covers to such an extent that it's hard to tell what really lies underneath."

He added that it's an impression of the misleading scene we are living in: "Society has become ethically bankrupt and our worth framework is quickly declining. Nobody flickers two times prior to setting absurd expectations or acting ethically bad. And furthermore, the truth of the matter is that society is unreasonable towards individuals who don't have abundant resources or associations. They are, sadly, taken advantage of due to their absence of honour."

The entertainer was most recently seen in Yeh Dil Mera in 2020, after which he facilitated the unscripted TV drama Tamasha and created the highlight film Dum Mastam. His return to television is in Jamun Ka Darakht. The film has been written by Raqeeb Se essayist Honey Bee Gul and created by Rafay Rashdi Creations, Syed Murad Ali Introductions, and Faisal Kapadia.

As a skilled performer and an entertainer, Siddiqui asserted, "I absolutely understand that I have a social and moral duty to play characters that convey a message. I think my art has the power to inspire and uplift the people who see it, but I also think that this power comes with a great duty to use it responsibly. A select few personalities can serve as effective messengers for kindness, understanding, and instruction, enabling masses to rethink their own beliefs and inclinations while also considering the viewpoints of others.

The cast incorporates models Maha Tahirani and Fouzia Aman as well as entertainer Saman Ansari, alongside Irfan Motiwala, Yogesh Karera, Ahad Touqeer, Churails' Zara Usman, and Syeda Ramesha Nawal.
