The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi is inviting applications for various positions on a contract basis. This recruitment is conducted under the Punjab Recruitment Policy 2022, specifically for candidates from the Punjab Province. Available Positions

1. Stenographer (Scale 15) The role of a stenographer requires candidates to have an Intermediate (2nd Division) education. They must demonstrate proficiency in shorthand, with a minimum speed of 80 words per minute (wpm), and typing, with at least 40 wpm in English. Additionally, they should be able to type 60 wpm in Urdu shorthand and 25 wpm in Urdu typing. Basic computer skills are preferred, and candidates should be aged between 18-25 years. A total of five positions are available, including specific quotas for women and minorities.

2. Security Supervisor (Scale 14) This position is reserved for retired subedars from the armed services, within the age range of 35-50 years. There is one position available for this role.

3. Data Entry Operator (Scale 11) Applicants should have a degree in Computer Science or its equivalent, with a minimum typing speed of 30 wpm. They must have proficiency in MS Office and other related software. Candidates aged 18-25 years with these qualifications are eligible to apply for one of the 25 available positions, with quotas for minorities and board employees.

4. Hardware Technician (Scale 11) Candidates must hold a Diploma of Associate Engineering in Computer/IT/Electrical with one year of experience, or a Higher Secondary School Certificate (2nd Division) with typing skills. Age requirements are 18-25 years. There is one position available.

5. Junior Clerk (Scale 11) This role requires a Higher Secondary School Certificate (2nd Division) and typing skills (40 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Urdu). Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential, and candidates should be aged between 18-25 years. Forty positions are available, including quotas for women, minorities, and board employees.

6. Telephone Operator (Scale 07) Candidates must have a Matriculation certificate and a Telephone Operator certificate, along with one year of experience. The age limit is 18-25 years, with two positions available.

7. Generator Operator (Scale 07) Applicants need a Matriculation certificate with two years of experience as a Generator Operator. Candidates aged 18-30 years can apply for one of the two available positions.

8. Photostat Machine Operator (Scale 06) The role requires at least a middle pass education with knowledge of Photostat machines. The age limit is 18-30 years, and there are two positions available.

9. Driver (Scale 06) Applicants must possess an HTV/LTV/PSV driving license and have at least five years of experience. Candidates aged 18-25 years are eligible, with two positions available.

10. Carpenter (Scale 05) This role is open to literate candidates with knowledge of carpentry. The age requirement is 18-25 years, and one position is available.

11. Cook (Scale 05) Applicants should be literate and possess knowledge of cooking. The age limit is 18-30 years, with one position available.

12. Plumber (Scale 05) Candidates need a certificate in plumbing from a vocational institute or equivalent. The age requirement is 18-25 years, with one position available.

13. Assistant Electrician (Scale 04) Applicants should have basic electrical knowledge, with preference given to diploma holders. The age limit is 18-25 years, and there is one position available.

14. Bookbinder (Scale 04) This role requires a middle pass education with two years of bookbinding experience. The age requirement is 18-25 years, with one position available.

15. Driver-cum-Cleaner (Scale 04) Candidates should be literate and healthy, aged 18-25 years. One position is available.

16. Record Lifter (Scale 02) Applicants must have passed the 8th class and should be literate with knowledge of the job. The age requirement is 18-30 years, with six positions available.

17. Cook Helper (Scale 02) Candidates must be literate with knowledge of the job. The age limit is 18-30 years, with two positions available.

18. Naib Qasid (Scale 01) Applicants should be literate and healthy, aged 18-25 years. There are fifteen positions available.

19. Chowkidar (Scale 01) This position requires candidates to be literate with knowledge of the job, and ex-military personnel are preferred. The age limit is 18-30 years, with five positions available.

20. Mali (Scale 01) Candidates should be literate with knowledge of gardening. The age requirement is 18-25 years, with three positions available.

Application Process

Interested candidates must apply online via the NTS website within 15 days of the publication of the advertisement. The test fee can be paid through various banking channels. Only online applications will be considered, and handwritten forms will not be entertained. Each position requires a separate application form if applying for multiple posts.

Candidates are also required to send a hard copy of the online application form along with necessary documents to the NTS Headquarters. The deadline for online application submission is July 30, 2024.

Terms and Conditions

Applicants must have a domicile of Punjab Province. General age relaxation is applicable as per government policy, and special relaxation is available for disabled persons. The age will be calculated from the closing date of the application submission. Employees of government, semi-government, or autonomous bodies can apply through proper channels. Quotas for women, minorities, and children of BISE RWP employees are applicable. Additional marks will be given to Hafiz-e-Quran registered with recognized institutions. The competent authority reserves the right to make changes to the number of posts or cancel them without assigning any reason.

Only eligible candidates will be called for tests and interviews, with no travel allowances provided.
