We are Hiring: English Language Professional

About the Role:

As an English Language Professional, your primary responsibility will be to research, check, and proofread the given material for spelling, grammar, sentence structure, tone, and format accuracy. In addition, you will be expected to possess content writing skills, effective communication, management, and leadership skills. Your role will be critical in ensuring the quality and consistency of our written content.



Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Research: Perform thorough research on given topics to provide guidelines and descriptions for content writers. This involves gathering accurate and relevant information to ensure the content is well-informed and comprehensive.

  • Review and Proofread: Carefully review articles for grammar, spelling, style, tone, and sentence structure. Make necessary corrections to ensure the content is polished and professional.

  • Fact-Checking: Verify the accuracy of the information written in the articles. This involves checking facts and ensuring that all data presented is correct and reliable.

  • Meet Deadlines: Complete tasks within given deadlines. Time management and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are crucial.

  • Adhere to Company Requirements: Ensure that the written content follows the company's requirements. This includes adhering to style guides and maintaining the desired tone and format.

  • Communication: Actively communicate with writers to provide feedback, suggest content modifications, and update guidelines as necessary. Effective communication is essential to maintain the quality and consistency of the content.

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: M.Phil in English Literature with a minimum experience of 2 years in journalism, content editing, or English writing.

  • Writing Proficiency: Excellent in Business, Formal, Technical English, and Memorandum Writing. Ability to craft content that meets high standards of clarity and precision.

  • Style Guide Familiarity: Familiarity with AP and other style guides. This ensures consistency in the presentation of written content.

  • Research and SEO Skills: Expert in conducting research, verifying information, and checking facts for any kind of topic and content. Proficiency in SEO practices is also required to optimize content for search engines.

  • Technical Skills: Expertise in basic computer programs, such as Microsoft Office and Google Suite. These tools are essential for content creation and management.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills with team members. Ability to provide constructive feedback and collaborate effectively.
