Position: Creative Fashion Designer

Overview:

We are seeking a talented and creative Fashion Designer to join our UK-based sportswear company. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sportswear fashion and a keen eye for detail. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design and development of innovative sportswear products.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and Development:

   • Design and develop high-quality sportswear collections that align with the company's brand and target market.
   • Create detailed sketches and technical drawings of designs for production purposes.

2. Market Research:

   • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and consumer preferences in the sportswear industry.
   • Stay updated with industry developments, including new materials, technologies, and manufacturing techniques.

3. Collaboration and Conceptualization:

   • Collaborate with the design team to conceptualize and create innovative designs for sportswear apparel and accessories.
   • Work closely with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure that designs are translated accurately into finished products.

4. Quality Assurance:

   • Participate in fittings and product development meetings to ensure the quality and fit of the final products.
   • Ensure that all designs meet the company’s standards for quality, fit, and functionality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Fashion Designer, preferably in the sportswear industry.
• Proficiency in design software such as Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
• Strong sketching and technical drawing skills.
• Knowledge of garment construction, fabric properties, and manufacturing processes.
• Creative flair and the ability to translate conceptual ideas into practical designs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Experience Requirements:

• Adobe Photoshop: 5 years (Required)
• Graphic Designer: 5 years (Required)
